Pool parties are one of our favorite events at L.A. Express… We always send at least TWO Djs and provide non-stop music and interactive fun for the entire event. Pool parties are truly "Big Fun"!!! L.A. Express is famous for our Boat Races - done relay style. We provide high quality 2-man inflatable boats and run 5 or 6 boats at a time with teams competing and is the highlight of any Pool Party! At a 2-4 hour event, we run one race. At a longer event, we will run another race… possibly dividing the teams into age groups - your choice! Special nautical music is provided during the races. Other events could include coin toss, where coins are thrown into the pool and participants dive in and keep what they find. Usually quarters and dollar coins in the deeper areas, with nickels and dimes in the shallow parts and pennies in the baby pool (Client provides coins for coin toss.) Hula Hoop contest and Hula Hoop pass (done relay style in a line) are classics!! As is the Limbo! Fighting over the possession of a "greased" watermelon in the pool can get the teens involved. Our DJs, dress island style for the event, come with cordless microphones so we can go anywhere in the crowd and announce all events. We are always ready to lead the latest line dances… electric slide, cha-cha slide, etc. And of course, our music at pool parties is always upbeat, fun and family oriented.
